Together, we can make sure all school children can see their world clearly
Pioneering School Optometry: We are learning how to bring eye exams, eyeglasses, and therapy to school to contribute to better education for our students, and thus a better world.
Lasting change begins with communities.
BECAUSE COMMUNITIES CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THEIR CHILDREN
Community Need
Twenty five percent of school children have vision issues impacting their learning. Yet they have trouble accessing eye care solutions. Let’s bring the eye exams and eyeglasses to school, where it can really make a difference. Learn more about barriers in access to eyecare for WA State students

Community Impact
A school optometry event can transform 20-30 students in a day. They receive an eye exam, and we order eyeglasses if needed. They can then see the board, and read their books. Learn more about the difference EYE See Clinic has made for WA State students

Community Future
Good vision for learning leads to good vision for earning, and good service to the community by the next generation and all the generations that follow. Read Seva Foundation’s Landmark report: “A Better Education in Sight”

EYE See Clinic: The places we go

Your generosity makes the next school event possible.
“Moreover, the returns from vision correction are substantial. The Seva Foundation’s recent Best Buys paper shows that the returns to school screening are as large as $65 in benefits for every $1 spent – an extremely effective use of funds. Overall, there is a compelling case for improving children’s vision – not just on moral or health grounds – but also because of its profound social and economic impact. Eyeglasses can help address the global learning crisis. The time to act is now.”
